To guide the health and safety procedures in School.<\/p>

To be compliant with the laws of Botswana regarding health and safety of learners.<\/p>

The school has comprehensive first aid kits at the Reception sick bay, PE department, admin office and the head teacher\u2019s office. The school bus is equipped with a first aid kit, as well.<\/p>

The first aid kit consists of: cotton wool, antiseptic, bandages, rubber gloves, wound cream, insect bite cream, flannels, ice packs, plasters and a pair of scissors as a minimum.<\/p>

Because of the danger to other students, any student suffering from a contagious or infectious illness should NOT <\/b>be in school. These illnesses include, but are not limited to: measles, mumps, chicken pox, polio, tetanus, influenza, hepatitis, diphtheria, pertussis, tuberculosis, pink eye, worms, ringworm, scabies, scarlet fever, strep throat, head lice, impetigo.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Any child who is unwell will be taken to the sick bay and parents will be informed to take the child to a doctor.<\/p>

The school paramedic keeps records of all incidents and accidents. A letter is sent home to parents when the student has seen the paramedic or received first aid.<\/p>

Legae English Medium subscribes to Med Rescue International (MRI) who are in attendance at all events and are called to the school as needed.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
